Guide Update

February 18, 2026 4:41 pm

Alex Wigley, our Heli Skiing Operations Manager, recently shared an update on conditions across our nearly one-million-acre ski area:

"We've had a great couple of weeks. There is 30cm of dry bouncy snow out in our tenure that guests have been enjoying. Groups have been skiing in the Taylor, Dickson, and Slim. This week we are lucky enough to get some sunny skies for groups to explore our vast alpine terrain. We also have a new storm forecasted for an additional 10-20cm of new snow on Monday, Feb 23rd."

Keen to join us?

Don't forget: at Tyax Heliskiing, we operate with a one-group-per-helicopter format, which means no waiting on other groups, no rushing, and more skiing. It’s a relaxed, exclusive, and is a truly unforgettable experience.

We hope to welcome you in 2026 or 2027! Drop us a line here, or use the Live Chat during working hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Pacific Time).
