Guide Update

November 26, 2025 1:11 pm

Tyax snowfall is off to a strong start for the 2026 season. There is approximately 70 to 100 cm of snow at the top of treeline, with up to 150 cm on the glaciers in the southeast part of our tenure. Over the next few days, we are expecting around 10 cm of new snow in the Slim Valley down to 1300 m, which is well below our lowest helicopter pickup points in the area.

Following this brief storm cycle, a break in precipitation is expected. This will help the snow settle into a solid base before the next wave of precipitation begins.  We're off to a great start!

Don't forget: at Tyax Heliskiing, we operate with a one-group-per-helicopter format, which means no waiting on other groups, no rushing, and more skiing. It’s a relaxed, exclusive, and is a truly unforgettable experience.

We hope to welcome you in 2026 or 2027! Drop us a line here, or use the Live Chat during working hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Pacific Time).
